Will I be able to work when I finish my studies?
Possibly. The Irish Government’s Third Level Graduate Scheme allows graduates of Irish higher education institutions to stay in Ireland for a year and look for work. Postgraduate students can extend their time to two years.
Non-EU third-level graduates who are legally residing in Ireland can apply for a Green Card Permit, which allows them to stay in the country permanently. This gives you the opportunity to work for a particular employer in a field where there is a skills shortage.
